Bengal cats are available in two different pattern variants, spotted and marble. The ground color is yellowish beige to reddish but there are lighter versions, known snowbengal, each color are ivory to cream. In all variants, the stomach, chest, chin, whisker pads and inside of the legs lighter in color than the rest of the body.
Pattern color is black, brown and beige, ideally it should be strong contrast between the base color and pattern. Tail dump and foot pads are dark, Nose is brickred and eye color varies, but is blue eyes only allowed on snowbengal of "Seal Lynxpoint". A bengal male weighs 5-8 kg and the females are slightly smaller, about 3-5 kg. They have strong legs with large paws and head with rounded shapes. The coat is short, dense and very soft, often with sparkling. |
